I need to preface this by saying that I absolutely love babies. They are the most beautiful little things in the world, despite sometimes looking a little squashed! Anyway you really captured that feeling I think! I have never experienced it as a mother, but as a big sister I think I can relate at least a little bit!

I really loved how Harry related to James in how he just got lost in James' tiny features. There is just such an immense love there, and I think you wrote that really well. Same with Harry and Ginny--they obviously love each other but its not all sappy. I think Ginny getting up and wanting to shower is definitely characteristic of her activeness and spirit.

The beginning scene with the family waiting was great too! I can so relate to that anxiousness just dying to meet the new baby! All of the characters were great, and I especially loved Ron and Hermione!

I feel like this review is all over the place, so to sum up I think you did a fantastic job of the feelings that come along with a new baby! Thanks for the beautiful story that brightened my day in the midst of midterms!

I have a really soft spot for babies, myself. I miss my own kids being that size. Well, not the crying and the diapers, but the little faces and hands and feet I totally miss. So I tried to focus on those details that I really remember enjoying.

To me, it's always seemed that Harry would have had an immense love for his children. We know from the books that he's capable of incredible acts of love and sacrifice, and he was deprived of love for most of his childhood. There's just no way he would ever allow his own children to grow up without it.

I really liked the scene in the waiting room, I was just worried that it didn't connect well enough with the rest of the story. So I'm really glad you liked it.
