Hey Amanda!

Ginnyís thoughts as she approached the therapist were excellent in my opinion. I can really see your background in psychology shine through here as you caught every single one of those emotions perfectly from the silent hope of this being able to cure her to the embarrassment and almost fear of being there. Then the miniscule details of the receptionistís shirt really added to it, because all that focus on that small thing really showed me what she was truly hiding from.

Hmm, Bree is an interesting character. Iím not sure whether I liked her or not yet but thatís purely down to the comment about Ginny being there for marital problems. It just seems so unprofessional that it made me wonder whether she sold them gossip about her clients or not. I liked how you mixed that up with Ginny finding her trust-worthy though, Iím wonder whether youíre just trying to play with our thoughts or whether you intend for her to be confusing. Iíll suppose Iíll have to wait and see.

I found reading about what happened to Ginny when she was telling Bree really interesting. It added a new perspective to it and made me see how hard it was to explain what had happened to her and thus explain why it had affected her so much. Again, you just managed to combine the perfect amount of description and dialogue and showed such a variety of emotions in that segment it was astounding.

The scene with Ginny waking in the middle of the night was truly haunting. The way she thought there was a basilisk but to be confronted by a diary instead really scared me, especially with the one word on the page. It provoked so many memories of Riddleís diary in me that it must have been awful for her. Writing wise, the suspense and tension was brilliant. The brief cameo from Harry at the end was great as it sort of added a humane touch and kept it grounded in a way.

Another brilliant chapter, Amanda!

Author's Response: Hey Kiana :)

I basically wanted to make the first session really awkward for both parties, because they do tend to be awkward, at least for the client. Obviously Bree's reaction to having a celebrity client was unprofessional, but I hope her sweet nature and genuine desire to help did come out in the end. As for Ginny, she's definitely not ready to tell anyone the whole truth about what happened to her and what she's been experiencing. Getting over that is going to be a huge issue for her.

Ahh, I'm so glad the suspense worked in the last scene! I find it really difficult to write horror because you don't have lights and scary music to help you the way you do in scary films. It's been an interesting challenge. Please let me know how other frightening episodes shape up as you keep reading so I can be sure to work on my execution even more.

Thanks so much for your lovely review!
