Hiya! Maia here from review tag :)

So, this is a REALLY interesting story so far. It's such a unique plot idea, to start with, which is awesome. I really like Ellie! I like how she's a little awkward and antisocial, but you haven't fallen into the trap of making too much, as I see quite often in fic where people really exaggerate the awkward Tumblr heroine type trope :P But I think she's really funny and believable. I like Chris too. This'll sound weird, but I like that he doesn't know about Ellie's gift. It gives their relationship a very interesting dynamic - that he thinks they're closer than they really are and she's hiding this huge thing from him - and it'll be so interesting to see when he finds out!

You've also got some nice bits of writing in here. The English student in me is squeeing about the repetition at the beginning of each chapter. It works really well, and helps tie the whole thing together in my opinion, makes it feel really cohesive even as it moves through time.

And I am very excited for Regulus next chapter! I loved him in chapter two. I'll admit, I'm a big Regulus fan - in fact, my one and only fic on my new account is about him - but almost every story I ever read about him is depressing, so it's really funny to see him hanging around a kitchen being sarcastic and talking about wifi!

I will definitely be keeping up with this story! I like it so far and all this has just been introductory stuff, and at the end of this chapter when she started getting suspicious about the sorting hat I could totally feel the build up to a really interesting plot. I think you have a really awesome mix here of a romantic-comedy type style mixed with the more serious side of Ellie's gift and the plot you're headed towards. Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: OMG! You read all three chapters? Amazing!

Thank you so much, you lovely person! There are cliche aspects to it, but I'm glad that you think that overall, it's an interesting story that people would like to read. It is a fine line indeed between introvert and antisocial, especially being part of the Tumblr community where such lines are so often blurred right out of proportion. And I really cannot wait either until Chris finds out. Lots of drama for sure!

Those first lines are so hard sometimes! I'm glad that they work the way that they're supposed to.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR REGULUS AS WELL! I love writing him so much. I've always seen him being shown as rather dark and broody, so I really wanted to make him the exact opposite here.

Thanks so much for this lovely review!
