Hello! In case you don't remember, you requested a review from me a very long time ago (about two or three weeks!) and I'm only just now getting around to filling your request! I am so sorry for the wait, but I hope that you can still enjoy my review! :)

So... Right now I'm really, truly wondering why I haven't found this story before now. Because it's SO GOOD. I love the way you've set the plot up from the very beginning--plenty of unanswered questions and fragments that need to be completed. It made for a very riveting read!

Rose's character is very intriguing. I was surprised to see her as an old woman, and that the narrator was not actually her. It was a FABULOUS change from the norm!! I love seeing things like that, and my hat goes off to you for writing it so brilliantly!

She's an orphan, and Hugo has (had??) a disease. And so a weirdo Head Auror takes her in. Why isn't it Harry? Why don't the Potters love Rose? What's going on?!?!?! You've filled my head with so many questions, and I LOVE it! :D

I really hope that throughout the story, we'll learn more about the narrator as we learn about Rose. I think that it would really add a lot to the storyline, especially because I'd like to know what kind of a person he is. In a magicless world, he studies about magic and questions its disappearance from the world.

Speaking of which... Why isn't there any more magic?!?! Where did it go? What happened?! This is all so very interesting! It will be super cool to see how everything develops!

...Yeah, I really don't have much to say in the vein of "constructive criticism," because any suggestion that I make would just make this chapter less-good than it already is! (In other words, I have no suggestions!)

Keep being totally awesome! :D

Author's Response: Aww, thank you! Even if you don't have suggestions, I'm glad you liked it :)

I did not intend to develop the narrator very much, to be honest. He's just a historian really, and the story's mainly about Rose and Albus, but maybe I will consider building his character a bit.

I'm glad the flow and characterization works well and that it wasn't too confusing too read. Thank you!
