Review:Pheonix Potioneer says:
I think Albus is rather like Ron when it comes to Quidditch. He gets nervous, and will probably be good by himself, and bad when others are watching. Poor Albus. He needs fake Felix Felicis.

Blackburn needs some fake Felix Felicis as well. Looks like she needs a confidence boost. But I can see why she is lacking confidence, probably insults follow her around. I bet Rose doesn't know half of the problems.

In this sentence, "The pressure on Blackburn however showed little sign of abating and the following day, the Daily Prophe published a letter from Lucius Malfoy on the issue", you forgot the t in Daily Prophet.

If Rose wants a bit better word than "werewolf" she could use "lycanthrope". Tell Rose that for me, will you? ;)

Rose needs to think before she acts. I agree with Lucy, you can't blame the first years. They haven't really experienced Blackburn much yet, they just know that she is a werewolf and they have grown up knowing werewolves are bad.

This seems like an important chapter to me, because it shows everything that Blackburn is going through. I can't wait until the full moon, though!

Author's Response: I LOVE your suggestion of giving half my cast fake Felix Felicis. That amuses me. And yeah, actually, it just MIGHT help Blackburn relax if she believed she was going to have some luck for a change.

Quidditch match should be the chapter after next, so you'll see how Albus does in a match and the full moon chapter is in the queue NOW (literally posted about an hour and 15 minutes ago), so it should be up in a few days. If I hadn't divided the chapter in two, it would have ended up about 6,000 words, so I think I was justified in dividing it. *laughs*

Mistake has been edited. Thanks for pointing that out. It was a pretty glaring one.

And yeah, lycanthrope would have been a better word.

And yes, I have a couple of things in this chapter that are meant to show that Rose's view isn't always entirely accurate or unbiased. I was wondering if any of them would be noticed. Her comment about it not being Blackburn's fault Dora is dossing isn't exactly true either, because she IS letting her get away with it, although under the circumstances, it's hard to blame Blackburn for not wanting to draw Dora on her. Not really professional though. And there's also her comment about how everybody KNOWS Wolfsbane is the precaution used, when it'd probably be a good idea to have a back up, because it is a hard potion to brew and all. I mean, it's still silly for Skeeter to be questioning if Hogwarts have any precautions in place after Blackburn's been there a year, but Rose isn't exactly thinking everything through either.

The first years are just more freaked out than malicious and Rose is kind of overreacting.
