Review:MargaretLane says:
*laughs* Teaching a class your students are familiar with during an inspection. People used consider doing that for our inspections during my student teacher year. Don't know if anybody did or not. Personally I've my doubts as to how well it'd work. I think some student would try to show off or even "help" the teacher by answering a question before it's fully asked or something.

That was sort of mean of Rose, asking that question in front of the inspector. Not that he should waste a class just to make himself look...I was going to say good, but he'd never look good, so I'll just say better, but still.

I actually laughed at him preferring to brew his own ingredients in case something came in contact with them that would cause the potion to explode. I should have guessed really, shouldn't I? But I just assumed it was in case they weren't prepared properly.

Author's Response: Young thought it would be a good idea! Too bad Rose sort of wrecked his plans. I don't think I'd attempt it. Too risky. I had to film myself giving a lesson once for student teaching and I did use a lesson I'd used before, but I did the lesson with a different group of kids.

I'd feel worse for Young if he was a decent teacher. But he really is awful. He doesn't even try. I think I'd be on Rose's side.

Burke's biggest fear is having potions explode and seriously injure people, which is ironic since he lands half his students in the hospital wing on a regular basis from spilling things. He's very obsessive about his ingredients. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
