Hello again! :) Ah, another great chapter and such a wonderful continuation off the first one. I'm pretty sure this chapter goes back in time, to before Molly began this strange relationship with the book, and it's very interesting to see what her world at Hogwarts is like. I enjoyed her relationship with Louis, and how they seem to be the only Weasley Ravenclaws. His puzzling over riddles to get into the common room was just too funny.
I think you did very well at situating Molly's dynamic with the rest of the Weasley cousins, like Victoire holding family meetings and James and Fred being pranksters. I also quite liked the references to the aunts and uncles, which situates the story well in with the canon characters. For most of the story so far I've been equating Molly quite a bit to Percy, but the line about the worn in book - where Molly thinks it's loved, and Percy would say badly taken care of - highlighted the differences between them so clearly and showed me how different they really are.
Another thing I enjoyed was how stereotypically studious the Ravenclaws are! It's great, how they fight for places to study in the common room, yet still seem like real, wholesome people. I liked the references to a few certain ones, like the boy who addressed Molly at the end, and Molly wondering if she should say goodbye to the girl who sat with her. It was very believable and realistic of a shy teenage girl, and very enjoyable.
I loved the description of Molly getting lost in her book, it was really beautiful. :) This was another brilliant chapter!
Author's Response: Hi again! Thanks so much for stopping by - and thanks also for coming by again! :)
Yeah, it does go back to before everything with the book - sorry if that wasn't clear! I do love writing Louis, and their relationship because it's nice, I think, to have that sort of friendship in it. Haha, the riddles - omigosh, the riddles for the common room would stump me too! :P Someone had to be bad at them; turned out to be him!
Haha, the line about the differences in book care kinda comes from me and my sister - I'm more like Percy, and my sister's more like Molly. But I did want to separate the two of them from being identical to each other, in that kind of sense, so yeah, I'm glad you liked it! :) I'm glad you liked the cousins and the family - quite a few of them will be coming up again!
I did like mentioning that, haha! I figured they must actually be kinda studious but it was important to me to get across that they're still people and they still have other habits and things, you know? So yeah, I'm so glad you liked it - I really enjoyed describing it! :)
Thank you so so much for the lovely review, and the lovely compliments! :)
