Review:PitchBlue says:
If I didn't know any better, I would think you're Remus in disguise. Your characterization of him is so pancaking (hahaha) perfect, it's just sqdfjkdlmarhjk. His insecurities and worries are described so vividly and it's so easy to relate to just because of the way you write it! Yeah, definitely my favourite Remus out of all the fanfictions I've ever read.

Oh and Marianne! I love her more every time, she's just so perfect for him and their story is such a perfect forbidden-love tale. The variety in your female characters is amazing: you have airy, sometimes slightly crazy, passionate Gemma; and then you have too-sweet-for-her-own-good Aeryn; fierce Lily; and stoic rational Marianne. I think we had the same kind of person in mind as a love-interest for Remus, because sometimes I think she and Olivia are so similar and would be so good friends! Great minds think alike, huh ;)

I'd just like to point out the most perfect sentence I've ever read:

"I can share you with the Moon," she said just above a whisper. "Just promise me you'll love me completely - as a man and a wolf. Don't hold anything back."

Just. Freaking. Perfect.

Author's Response: Hahaha, well maybe I AM!!

Ok, well, sadly I'm not Remus ... but JK's new notes about him really helped me get inside his head. Reading his bio legit made me tear up but I don't think I could have done his character justice without her insight. As I said in the author's note, this chapter was really me exploring his self doubt ... and it was kind of fun to write, as sad as that sounds.

And I know. Marianne is so precious, isn't she? As I said in our message thread, I originally wanted them to publicly get together after the Hogsmeade attack but I have to admit, it's really fun to write them sneaking around. It makes their plot line more dramatic/interesting. And it's going to make the ending THAT MUCH BETTER XD

And yes, Marianne and Olivia would def be friends. I feel like Remus has to end up with someone who's smart and snarky or someone with spunk, like Tonks. And on that note, I think Marianne would TOTALLY approve of Tonks :D

And I'm happy you like that sentence, but it took me a couple of drafts to finally get the wording right. It seriously was the bane my existence until the final draft magically popped into my head!!
