Hello there!

After scrounging the "Recently Added" section, I came across this. I always come across your stories in the randomest of places. But I never regret it when I do.

Oh Myrtle. In the stories she was portrayed very sulky, and annoying. I actually cringed when I would read her dialogue in the books, because her nasally, annoying, high pitched voice would take over. In this story, it did not.

"Come and take my empire of dust, and I'll take your breaking heart and your tears. I will take your pain and your misery, because it is all a part of life. But, I will also take your joys, your firsts and your lasts. I will take your life, if you would wish death over it." This part was perfect in every sense. This was such a dark moment, and it literally felt like a cold knife piercing though my skin, because it was filled with so much pain.

"I have friends, in books and tales that you will never read." And this made me just so emotional, because I know what she means. I've seen people seek comfort through books, and I myself do it all the time.

If I could, I would quote every 1472(yes I checked haha) word of this one-shot, because I loved every.word.of.it.
I think it was great, and I wish you luck in the challenge. You'll fair well for sure :D

Author's Response: Hi Nadia! *waves*

Let me be a little selfish, and hope that you come across my stories like this! Because I love this review right here! :)

In the stories, I didn't pay too much attention to her either. She seemed so whiny all the time. But, this quote really got me thinking about how her side of the story might look like, and I thought I take a shot at writing it. I'm glad you liked it! :)

And I did feel so dark and angsty while writing out that part. I'm glad it came off like I intended it to. I think she would look at the problems of the living and wonder what they really had to worry about, given her predicament.

I can relate to that too. I love talking to people. It always helps me. But a good book is the best distraction from matters that plague us.

Haha :) You're too sweet really! I've edited it a bit now, and it has a 1475 words. Just a minor change. I'm glad you loved it! I just saw the results and saw that you'd entered this too, and you placed third. I'll definitely read yours soon! :)
Thanks again!
