Hi there! I'm here from the Gryffindor review exchange :)

I love anything to do with James Potter I so when I saw your one-shot, I knew I couldn't past it! After reading it, I have to say, I wasn't disappointed either :)

I think you've taken a really unique approach by having this one-shot with James reflecting on his parents' deaths. It's new. It's interesting. It's different - and I loved every bit of it!

My favourite part of this one-shot has to be the last few lines, where Sirius asks James if he's okay. They seem to have such a brilliant unspoken understanding which is lovely to see :)

I'm sorry I can't think of any CC - the story flows effortlessly and I can't pick up on any grammatical mistakes. Well done on this one-shot and I look forward to reading more of your work :)

Author's Response: A fellow James Potter fan!!! I agree; as for me, anything with James or Sirius I can't turn down.

James needed to have matured sometime before their final years of Hogwarts, and while it's a nice thought that James matured himself so Lily can go out with him, there's still a War going on so I always thought that he matured because of the War or because of some other reason. Naturally, this helped him with Lily too (which is good ^^) but Lily isn't the sole reason. I love Lily, but sometimes I think people put too much of an importance on her in James and Snape's life.

Their bond as not only friends but also as brothers is one that I'm very envious of. I love James and Sirius xD

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! (:
