Review:Courtney Dark says:
JAMES POTTER!! I have to say, I am very disappointed in him for being such a blabber-mouth with Beth's secret and even more disappointed with Sirius for acting so harshly towards Beth - you have no idea how bad I felt for Beth in that moment! I just wanted to give her a bog, comforting hug and say 'I DON'T MIND IF YOU LIKE SEVERUS!'

Anyway, I enjoyed this chapter - it was nice to see a bit more of Lily and a little of James' point of view. And Beth and Severus actually had a proper, non violent/angry/completely awkward/odd/mysterious conversation. I mean, it wasn't completely normal, but they're getting there! Slow and steady wins the race. At least I think that's the saying. I've never been so good with inspirational sayings.

Great chapter!
Courtney:)

Author's Response: Oh, James! :( You have every right to be disappointed in him, of course -- blabbing to Sirius like that was a very rude thing to do. And, of course, Sirius's reaction was less than desired, because he still has the mind of a five-year-old, essentially. It's amazing he doesn't still think girls have cooties, actually. Beth needs all the hugs you're willing to give her, definitely! ♥

It's sort of sad, I think, that a lot of readers felt the need to mark Beth/Severus conversations as huge milestones. :P But then again, for Severus to be getting over Lily and talking to another girl? I personally think that IS a huge milestone for him! And one of the things I wanted to do, more than almost anything, was to move Severus's attentions from Lily to Beth as realistically as possible (I've got documented proof of wanting this even before I started writing the story!). Slow and steady wins the race indeed.

Thank you for reviewing!! ♥
