Review:nott theodore says:
Hello dear! Congratulations on 20 chapters (although I'm aware that you're much further on with this story now!)

I like the fact that she's kind of staking out the Gryffindor common room, worrying about Ginny. I hope she decides to tell her soon and warn her, because I feel like that would be a massive step in the right direction for her. At least what she's doing here clearly means that she's thinking about it and is worried!

Oh, her friends are starting to notice that she's slipping away so often. That's slightly worrying - I wonder how soon it will be before they start to get very suspicious of what she's doing when she's away. Although Taurus will probably be on her side if they find out, if what I've seen so far is anything to judge by.

I'm giving myself a congratulatory pat on the back for guessing that the woman in the portrait was Anne Boleyn! I really like the way that you incorporate history into this story, and use it so effectively with the wizarding world. Anne Boleyn's story fits so well with everything in this, especially since she was suspected of witchcraft - in this world, it's completely plausible that she could have been! I have a feeling that her story could prove to be quite symbolic in this story, and certainly it gives Tor something to think about!

So Tor is going to go to Azkaban? I understand that she's just being a good friend, but I feel like she doesn't understand how horrific the experience will be, and she doesn't really know what she's letting herself in for. It's a sign she does care about her friends, though I think it was a little unfair of Theo to ask her.

Terry and Tor are so sweet together! Even though they're kind of in the honeymoon stage of a relationship (although admittedly with a lot more obstacles to overcome than most couples) their interaction is always realistic. It makes me sad to think he might die or they may not end up together!

Author's Response: Bonjour!

Ah, thank you for the congratulations! :) It was such an exciting moment, I can't believe this story has grown this much!

I know, I feel like Tor's moral compass and sense of responsibility has developed enough for her to want to tell Ginny, even though it goes against her father and her surroundings.

Yes, they are realizing something is up (finally)! Haha, good point about Taurus! :P But yes, it's so hard to tell how they will react, especially considering how Tor might have reacted a few months ago had one of her friends been in a similar situation.

You should definitely be proud of your detective skills! I'm glad you liked the history, I love writing history into the HP world, it's really fun! :) I'm glad you found it plausible in this context.

I agree, I feel like she's just trying to be strong for her friends without thinking about the personal consequences. Theo has been acting quite selfishly, and eventually Tor will start to notice.

Aw, I know, they are so cute together and I love writing that exciting part of the relationship. It makes me sad too, but for now it's lovely to see them together and imagine their interactions. :)

Thanks for another wonderful review! :D I'm getting there with these responses!
