Review:Courtney says:
I think my first review got messed up so here's the rest. While I understand Scorpius being afraid to tell Rose, he better do it soon because just keeping all these things from her in the first place is bad enough, but failing to tell her before he slept with her and again after she specifically asks him is pretty terrible. I would be pretty upset if I had slept with someone who was married and they hadn't told me. And I think it will/should take a lot for him to ear back her trust for the way he has handled this whole thing. And while I think it makes sense for him to move on when she basically told him they would never be together, all of Scorpius's actions, like getting married to someone else and still being so angry at Hugo and Lexie, make me think he isn't being honest with himself or anyone else about how much Lexie meant to him and that he doesn't really seem over her, and that his declarations of eternal love to Rose and only wanting her don't really seem genuine; so I'm interested to see how he fully explains his marriage to Rose and how he acts when he confronts Lexie. It does seem a little too coincidental that Scorpius's wife cheats on him with Rose's brother and I wonder if Lexie felt that Scorpius was still in love with Rose and did it as a sort of revenge? And I worry that when Rose finds out, she as well as others may think that Scorpius is getting with Rose as a way to act out against Hugo. So I'm interested to see how these complicated things get revealed and resolved. Thanks for sharing

Author's Response: Sometimes things happen in the moment, yes he should have told her when before he slept with her, but I highly doubt that that was going through his mind when Scorpius finally kissed Rose, I think that he was just caught up in the moment. I will admit that he has handled the whole thing wrong. Here's the thing Scorpius never did love Lexie, never could allow himself to, he does have that eternal love for Rose, and if I don't change my mind between now and the next chapter, you will see that Rose really screwed Scorpius up in the past. He married Lexie because he wanted a wife and kids, he didn't want to hold off on life, like Rose, and miss those things. Now just because he didn't love her doesn't mean that he didn't care about her. Now I do think that he is lying to himself about being hurt by her and what she did, but the another thing is that he is also extremely embarrassed about the whole thing, seriously two months, Scorpius doesn't take failing real well.
I don't think that Rose will think that he is getting with her to get back at Hugo, but she might, I haven't written that part yet and when I do it will depend on how I feel that she would feel. I'm hoping that with the way that I have everything planned out that I will be able to rectify everything. Unfortunately at the moment I don't have Rose finding out for a while. Anyways thank you so much for the review and like I said the next chapter should explain just about everything of his situation.
