Review:Courtney says:
Well, I know that both Rose and Scorpius act like Rose is the one at fault, but it is seriously messed up that Scorpius has kept so much from her. If I were Rose I would be extremely upset and hurt to find out that he was still married and would have a really hard time trusting him after this. I don't really see how he can justify keeping all this from her. I'm assuming that his wife cheated on him with one of Rose's cousins? At least now, Rose doesn't have to take all the blame for their problems as Scorpius' recent actions are really bad. I think he seems pretty insincere to act like he is so in love with her and has been pining after her forever when he married someone else and is still married to them. But I'm also pretty disappointed with Rose for doing this and then going back to Rex; I hope she's honest with him about being with Scorpius. They are both hurting each other and other people so hopefully they get their acts together soon and are honest with each other. I'm interested to see how you can salvage their future.

Author's Response: Real quick yes he is still married but there is a lot going on with that, which you will learn about in the next chapter, don't go seeing him in the wrong yet. Scorpius originally didn't tell Rose in the begging because he just didn't want to talk about, even with Bryan and Stacy he was like change the subject.
So Lexie slept with Hugo, it's Rose's nephew, if she had slept with one of Rose's cousins then the baby would be her second cousin. The way he justifies not telling Rose everything is that for starters what is going on with Rose and her family really is none of his business and it isn't his place to tell her about that, Hugo hasn't told anybody, for a reason which you learn in the next chapter. Also Scorpius isn't cheating on his wife they are very much separated and in the next chapter you will find out that when it boils down to it they really didn't have much of a marriage, admittedly he needs to tell Rose, but he is holding off for a little bit, once again for a reason, but he knows that his time is limited. The next couple of chapters are really going to give you the full background story along with Scorpius' and Lexie's perspectives because there is two sides to every story and unfortunately her reasons for cheating on Scorpius, although are wrong they can be understandable.
As for Rose nice to see that she is getting a little bit of a nice wrap seeing as how almost every chapter somehow involves her running away. The way she sees it is that Nothing has changed with Scorpius the reasons why they are apart are still the same their families won't accept any of them, and the reason why she stays with Rex is because he is a decent person and she does LIKE him. She will be honest with him, but not for a few chapters, although Rex will start to pick up on a couple of things.
Jeez I am like biting my fingernails in attempt to not tell justify Scorpius' reasons but I cant do that without revealing everything, like I said his justifications will come out in the next two chapters, and in my opinion he is justified.
One last thing that I canclear up is for is when you said they act like it is Rose's fault for all of their problems, that comes from the fact that Rose refuses to let herself go, admittedly he is technically still married but even if he wasn't she would still be resistant. Scorpius has been waiting for her for almost six years and she knew that if there was ever a time that she had wanted to go back to him, he would have welcomed her with open arms and said nothing. So as for their relationship itself, yes Rose is the main result of their problems.
Thank you so much for the review and I hope that the next chapter will make you see things in a slightly better light.
