Hello! This is Claire again.

I really did enjoy this chapter! I have several questions, though that I suspect will be answered in future chapters. For one, why does Eileen like to work with Muggles? The Princes are obviously one of the old wizarding pureblood families, and of course there's the bit about the curse and darkness of the Princes, but why Muggles? I probably agree with Fabian; if Eileen can make so much more money with working with wizards, what is it about Muggles? Then again, Eileen doesn't seem like the person to really care about money, though she is a good manager of her money.

The bits about Eileen's insecurities were very well done. The little part about Fabian being shorter than Eileen and how she felt like a tower next to him with the earlier descriptions that she gave herself really showed that she did have insecurities about her own looks, though they aren't a huge factor in her life.

Also, I can definitely imagine a Gringotts goblin trying to see if Eileen has any goblin-made heirlooms. That was a very clever bit that I'm glad you added in.

Overall I think you are doing such an excellent job. You sneak in little details into the story that really tell lots, and you manage to do this without making each chapter 10 words. Wonderful chapter! (:

Author's Response: Hello Claire! I'm sorry for the response delay!

Yes, I'm sure that you'll end up with more questions before they're answered. I like to leave readers hanging a bit and then, BAM, answers! I've always believed there's a stigma about old pureblooded families. I do think that some of them would interact with Muggles more than say, the Malfoys. I'd like to think that although the Princes remained pureblooded, they were like the Weasleys in that they accept those different from themselves. But you know, thanks for pointing out that question. I will definitely have to answer it in future chapters!

I'm really glad you noticed Eileen's insecurities. I tried to be subtle and not give everything away all at once.

I do love little details and making every word count, that's why my chapters aren't super long. I believe that every word has a purpose and don't like the purple prose, flowery, this-is-too-much kind of stuff!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I do hope you're enjoying the story! :)
