Hello!
I've never read any Dean/Luna stories before, and I really liked this! It's not a pairing I would come up with, and I don't think I'd be able to make it very convincing, but I think you did a fantastic job writing them together! Luna was written so well, and I really felt like I was inside her head. You captured the way she says everything so honestly, and is so comfortable in her own skin, and I think you took those qualities and did a really beautiful job putting them into the story when it's told from Luna's perspective. I think when you write in first person, a character's qualities get lost sometimes, because the narrator isn't going to describe themself like someone else would, so you have to show who they are through their tone of voice and the way they see things instead of outright descriptions. It's a lot more subtle, but I think you did a really wonderful job showing Luna's personality and how she thinks. She was really in canon, too! I loved how you wrote her feelings for Dean, and the day at Shell Cottage when she realized them. I could really picture it, and loved reading that whole memory. And then end was really lovely. I could imagine the two of them up in the Astronomy Tower, and Luna kissing Dean instead of telling him her feelings with words. This was a great one-shot and I'm really glad I picked it to read! 10/10

Author's Response: Hi Cassie! Thanks so much for coming to review this story! I always think it's just collecting dust at the bottom of my author page, but you came to give it some love! :)

I think a lot of people admire Luna for being comfortable with who she is, and I tried to capture that. It really was hard to get into her head and write in first person, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is a challenge, like you said, to show a character without having outside opinions on them. It works best with a very self-aware character, and I think that's definitely Luna :)

I like that memory too! I think they'd make a sweet couple, and I tried to squeeze as much fluff as I could into one chapter, haha. Thank you for the wonderful review, Cassie! It made my day! :D
