RRT!

Aw I really loved reading the information about Lily’s love for all things muggle at the beginning of this. It meant we really got a sense of who she was and how she compared to the rest of wizarding society. I always thought someone would take after him, and it seemed fitting it would be her. I also liked how you showed the majority’s views towards muggles as it was interesting to know.

I really liked how Lily confronted Rose, it was great. We got to learn so much about both of them during that such as Lily’s determination and Rose’s studiousness. And that was even more effective because in one-shots you have to really develop their characteristics to make them successful in a short space, yet you managed to do it here.

Even though it was surprising that McGonagall let them use her fireplace, it still made sense at the same time, with Lily’s trickery and it made me laugh about how devious she could be – a perfect Slytherin really. I really liked all the adventures they got up to during the trick or treating it really made me laugh. Then the way McGonagall was at the end of, so innocent and sincere. Aw bless her.

I spotted a couple of run on sentences like here ‘You've slept in the library more than you've slept in your dorm, it's not even close to June or NEWTs and you're studying for them already.’ Where you could put a period after dorm, and here ‘Lily, I'm a seventeen-year-old girl, I'm in my seventh year, NEWTs are coming, I have lots more on my mind than some silly tradition that muggles have about a totally unnecessary holiday.’ Where you could put one after coming. It’s just an idea on how to break them up really :)

I really enjoyed that one-shot as it really brightened my day, and the idea about writing one for every holiday is really cool!

Author's Response: Someone had to take after Arthur and it just seemed like Lily would be the most likely person to take after him.

There are a lot of times when I end up doing something good in writing that is usually difficult without knowing it. I'm always surprised when people point out stuff like that. This is one of those times, anyhow, I'm still happy that I managed to get Lily's characterization through to everyone.

You know, I think Lily would probably be the likliest Potter to end up in Slytherin. I don't know why but it's just that when I think about it it makes a lot of sense to me.

Oh my good golly gosh, I'm so happy that I managed to brighten your day even a little bit with this! The idea is pretty brilliant and I'm so happy that someone suggested it to me!
