Review:Elphaba and Boyfriends says:
Hi, Elphaba here -- sorry that I'm a bit tardy with my review.

Aha! Reading this sentence made me happy: "I've never liked that woman, and now I only hate her more. How vile can she be?" I agree with Teddy at this point.

I'm also glad that Teddy is so understanding, and tells Dom not to beat herself up over avoiding him. :)

I think the pregnancy problem is fascinating: "There are a number of things that could cause a miscarriage - or a stillborn - if she were to fall pregnant. For instance, it is necessary for hormone levels to be at certain amounts for a successful pregnancy, but what with turning into a wolf every month, Ms. Weasley's hormone levels are likely to be out of synch." This transformation explanation seems to make sense, and its something that I had never thought of before! However, I think that the healer would phrase her warning differently. Rather than, "You can not allow yourself to... bear children," I think she might say it's inadvisable for her to bear children. She may say "I would be very worried for both you and the baby" and tell her what the odds of a successful pregnancy might be (whether it's a 25% chance it a 0% chance). I also wonder what kind of other options would be available in the wizard world for couples who have trouble conceiving, compared to the muffle world? Could she use a surrogate? Or adopt?

I'm further intrigued by the decision she'll have to make, and wonder what it will involve. This is definitely a unique issue, and that I like! :)

Author's Response: Hey! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Aha I am glad you liked the sentence. Yes, Dom's boss is not exactly likeable.

I am pleased you that the whole pregnancy problem makes sense to you. I did some background research on miscarriages etc. so it is a great relief that it didn't go waste! I was going for the unexpected so it's great that you were caught off guard. Thanks for the little tip about the phrasing of the warning. I'll work around it when I edit. Well, currently I am not sure if she's going to delve into alternate methods because she's not exactly planning to have kids at the moment, but it might be looked into in the future =)

I am pleased you like the issue and that you're intrigued. Thanks!
