Review:unakrnkiller says:
Yeah. If you could just kill off Timothy for me, that would be great. I mean, he seems like a nice guy and all, but he better back off. Beth belongs to Severus and NO ONE else!

I love Sirius to pieces, but I'm glad Beth punched him in the face. He helped screw up every aspect of her life and he needed to realize how big he messed up. Part of me would really like to see what has been going on in his head lately. Sometimes I just don't see his logic. I do want to say that I love the way you have written him. This is one of the first fanfics I've read where he is a main character, and your version of him is very believable.

By the way, every time you mention a chapter running a little long it gets me excited because I don't want this story to end. The longer, the better.

I'm super excited for the next chapter. I hope we get to see more of Severus soon. I miss his appearances. :(

Author's Response: Oh dear! Poor Timothy, getting death wishes -- although sending him to a remote island, or at least a more remote corner of England, probably would do Beth a bit of good. He's a nice enough guy to be sure, but I have to agree with you and the rest of the people who've reacted to him in that Beth definitely belongs with Sev. And she seems to agree, too!

The thing about Sirius, unfortunately, is that what Beth says is completely true: He's not sorry for telling Dumbledore about Beth and Sev, but he's sorry he got caught. I get the feeling that if he had to do it all over again, he wouldn't change a thing. I'm so, so happy you've found the way I write him believable, though! I have a lot of issues with ways that certain people portray him, and I wanted to set about fixing that and making him a bit more of a real person than other ways I'd seen him written. It means loads to me that you find him to be just that. :)

You're so sweet. ♥ I think this story will be somewhere around 100,000 words at the end of it, so definitely shorter than the first two books -- but hopefully long enough! It does give me a bit of a relief to know that at least a couple of readers won't mind the long chapters. ;)

Thank you so much for taking the time to review this for me! And I'm excited to see your reaction to the next chapter, as well. Severus is more notably missing in this book, but he will come back eventually, have no fear!
