Review:Ardeith says:
Nice to see Sev in this chapter. And even more importantly, he's remembering! I'm excited, of course -- now that he's remembering, Sev isn't the type to leave this mystery unsolved. Which should bring him back to Beth! But, how's he remembering without his memories? (That's a funny sentence if you think about it!) Didn't Dumbledore get them all?? I'm sure you won't/can't tell me because it's probably part of the plot...

Also, I've mentioned this before, but I'm always so impressed by it...I love the contrast between the Death Eater relationships and the Order friendships. You never fail to show that the Death Eaters aren't real friends, that they are always casually cruel to each other, always engaged in one upmanship (sp??). I liked your Lucius and Narcissa here, totally believable that they "grow up" to be the Lucius and Narcissa of canon.

Author's Response: I would miss Severus too much if I didn't find ways to sprinkle him throughout this story -- and he is still key to its events, after all. Although as to how he's remembering without his memories, you'll have to remember just WHAT Dumbledore, in his limited scope of the exact nature of Beth and Severus's interactions, removed from Severus's mind. That might only serve to confuse you more, but if so, I promise that everything will be revealed in time!

In my mind alone there's such a stark contrast between friendships the Order members have and those the Death Eaters have, and I just have to tell you that I think it's so neat that I'm somehow managing to convey that enough that you pick up on it, too. :) I haven't had enough excuses to write Lucius/Narcissa before this! They're delightfully sly and cunning... I'll have to do it more often.

This review. ♥ I just... it really does mean so much to me that you're still here reviewing, Ardeith. Seriously!
