Wow - James really did create quite a scene with Albus' sorting. I was glad that you had him overhear the Neville/Sirius conversation at the end. It should help feel more at peace both with Albus and his sorting. I was surprised at Dominique's sorting (but not Rose's). Amelia and Dominique should be quite the powerful twosome. Was Umbridge the witch James remembered upsetting his parents in the werewolf discussion? Great new chapter - thank you!

Author's Response: I always imagined that James would not be happy if his little brother was in Slytherin, so this sort of wrote itself. Haha

I needed to find a way for James and Sirius to resolve their issues, but I wasn't too sure how until I starting reading all the comments about how people loved it when Neville and Sirius talked. I decided to throw that in there to resolve a few things. One being James's anger issues and two being a lot of question on the werewolf topic. I was vague before, but I did want to add more to it.

I debated on Dom's sorting a lot. I didn't see her in Slytherin that much, but Gryffindor and Ravenclaw was a possibility. Dom is more analytical then ambitious. She is cunning, but that could also be for Ravenclaw. I was more likely to put her there instead of Slytherin, but it was Amelia who was the deciding factor. I have a lot of plans for Dom and Amy and I didn't have the heart to separate them. It's true that they could still be together with different houses, but it's easier this way. :) Dom shows a few Gryffindor characteristics, but she was the opposite of Albus. He always cared until the last moment, Dom never cared until she met Amy. That part of the sorting kind of balanced each other. And I'm pretty sure not many were surprised by Rose being in Ravenclaw. Except James...poor James...

Also I'm glad you caught that at the end. You are correct, Umbridge was the witch that James noted Harry arguing with. There will actually be more on that later though...It's a kind of important part later on, but I'm really glad you caught that. ;)
