Hello! I'm here for the first of your reviews since you won A Single Spell Challenge with that AMAZING piece of writing!

Before I begin this review, I first want to say that I apologize for all my awkward and random introductions. I never quite know how to start off a review.

Anyway.

I really, really like the idea for this story! I loved the mystery and slight darkness that surrounded this first chapter - it all made me intrigued to know more. I also like your characterization of Dominique so far, even though we don't know an awful lot about her. I am looking forward to learning more about her in the next chapter. She seems to be a naturally inquisitive, intellectual person who has a pretty perfect life...it will be cool to see how she starts reacting when her life begins to go not so perfectly.

I loved the imagery and descriptions that you used in this chapter to describe the cottage and forest and paint a picture in the readers mind. I'm not sure if this is just me, but I almost got a dark storybook feeling while I was reading this. Like a fairytale gone wrong. I always find the idea of werewolves interesting to read about, and the fact that Dom has to write an article about them is a great idea! I also love all the little details you added into this chapter, such as the fact that Hermione had made some new laws for werewolves, and that Dominique had been dating Teddy. I found that particularly interesting, considering in most fanfictions Victoire and Teddy are dating or married.

Oooh, that cliffhanger at the end was gold! I sort of felt it coming, but it was still exiting and suspenseful anyway, which shows great writing skills. I especially liked the idea of Dominique staring into a pair of bright yellow eyes...that was kinda creepy!

Hmm, I wonder if she'll be a werewolf now...or something else? Either way, I can't wait to find out. I thought this was a great start.

I am glad you liked the idea of the story, and the mood surrounding this chapter. Dominique is a complex character so you'll learn about her gradually as she opens up over the chapters, I hope you're satisfied then =) Yeah, her reactions are not going to be pretty xP

I am pleased that you liked my descriptions as I feel am not very good at them, and that you got a dark storybook feeling as that was my intention. Its great that you noticed the little details and liked them too. We'll see more of Dom and Teddy's relationship in the coming chapters.

I am happy to hear you liked the cliffhanger at the end, and that you found it exciting and creepy in a way.
