I've been checking constantly for your story, I've needed a smile. Happy to hear the move went well. I have cats, but I adore teaching puppies from scratch. Lets see, things I noticed in this chapter.
When Rose woke with the storm she sat there frightened to death trying hard to be like other family members, not seeking comfort with her mum and Dad. It wasn't working, but she wouldn't leave the room, it was like she would rather suffer. Scorpius showing up the way he did showed he has sympothy and cares for Rose and how terrorized she becomes durring major storms. He knew she wouldn't leave for comfort. He came to distract her and lul her back to sleep. There is bravery in numbers.
I also noticed tha between the two of them, the confidence rating has gone up in each of them. Hairy toes, big noses, hips that don't lie, muffin tops, zity backs. Yet Rose couldn't find one physical flaw with Scorpius. Scorpius called her beautiful, to him. He likes the inner Rose, thats what makes her beautiful. What is on the outside is just frosting. Scorpius could also have been talking about family and how they represent their parents and what is expected of them. Hardly leaves time for fishing and star gazing, hand holding and snogging.
I like Scorpius. In the future I can see Rose at the Manor watching television with him, taking away the lonely. Grabbing him when his mother is at the hospital to come home with her for a family meal, instead of eating alone with a house elf. I see her selfless giving. Or maybe I am looking too far? lol
I shall see you next month :)

Author's Response: Puppy is learning VERY fast. He's super smart but sometimes he forgets himself. Not shocked, as he is a puppy. But he has some things down super well now. Obedience class worked great for him.

I think Rose tries to put on a brave face where she refuses to seek help, but accepts it if it comes. There is definitely bravery in numbers.

I loved their insecurities. Rose needs to know that she is not alone in thinking she has flaws, but also that they are in her head.

Haha, maybe you are looking a smidge to far... but we shall see ;)
