I sound really aggressive, which isn't my point. Honestly. This was an amazing chapter, beautifully written, and now I'll run away sobbing because I don't know if I'm allowed to hope for Severus and Beth or not. Currently, I feel more like not.

Author's Response: Oh, poor Val! These chapters definitely aren't happy ones, but I promise you that things do get better once the story comes to an end! It's not all doom and gloom, I swear.

Beth's assigned to paperwork, yes... but somehow that might work to her advantage. I don't want to say too much other than don't lose hope, because again, you're always allowed to hope for Beth and Severus to be together! I always do. :)
