The idea for this story is really original - complete and utter originality! It shows a different side to quidditch that is really shown, yet occurs more often than success! The character of Katherine is intriguing, and has you fascinated from the first sentence. I hope it gives a fresh new perspective of Albus Potter - it's already shown an awesome inventive side of Quidditch.

The take on Al is refreshing - how he contrasts to her quite bitter out look on life. The detailed thoughts make Katherine instantly likeable and add quite a lot of depth to her character. The description of her job, and her emotions is really well balanced with the action and dialogue. For example "I recognized defeat in his eyes, and regret" is brilliant because it shows how scarred both of them are, and the similarities along with the written differences. It also leaves an atmosphere of the past and mystery. The range of sentences is brilliant - the tense pauses and the snappy short ones, as well as the longer thoughtful ones. I also love how eveyr once in a while you relate her situation to quidditch , for example - "I'd always had a sponteneous streak. You couldn't be successful seeker without one."


I am fascinated see how this will turn out - with romance, quidditch and Albus Potter, it already sounds awesome!! :D
