Wow. I don't read many stories from the different perspective of the war, but I'm glad I took the time to read through this.

History, in general, never really gives both sides of a warfare. Rowling, through Harry, told about a war against pure-blood supremacists that wished to see everyone else killed. Because of this, we generally visualize these people as blood-thirsty monsters. Your one-shot really opened my eyes to another perspective. Bravo!

Narcissa's description of these fellow Deatheaters is just perfect. They all, essentially, changed and shifted into individuals that contrast greatly with what they used to be. My favorite that she described is Evan Rosier. I really connected the most with him and his efforts to cause every beautiful witch to blush at his words. The fact that I actually related to a deatheater blew my mind.

Your writing style is wonderful in that you use just enough pathos to keep me invested in the story right to the end of it.

The descriptions kept me reading every word of the narrative.

The ending was just brilliant and left me in a depressed mood (don't worry, I need to go review some happy-fluffy works, so I'll get over it).
