I can definitely see, in this chapter, that you are starting to get into the flow of things. This chapter was a lot easier to read than the first and flowed much more smoothly. It also seemed less rushed-like you were taking your time and really letting the messages and characterizations sink in, rather than hurrying to get to the end.

Very interesting how you started with Draco's point of view-I wasn't expected a POV change this early in the story so that was a surprise. I thought it was interesting to find out what Draco thought about the whole situation, and you wrote his thoughts quite well-however, his characterization could be clearer and I would've loved to have learnt a little bit more about his back story. It's clear he loves his daughter, but I would have been super interested to find out more about his life and marriage...although I guess those sorts of things will be revealed later in the story-and it is always good to leave questions unanswered, to be found out later on, when the reader is not expecting it.

I enjoyed reading Mikaela's thoughts and I like the fact that we are seeing more of her personality shine through. I think you are creating a very interesting character here. I think her thoughts led on very nicely from the last chapter, and I liked the fact that she was weighing up her options, because I could definitely relate to that-I am the worlds worst procrastinator so somehow, for me, this meant that I found Mikaela much more believable.
