Ok so I love your stories but I'm confused- Severus knows about Peter being the traitor bc he saw him in a meeting- why hasn't he told dumbledore or the order yet?

Author's Response: I'm glad to hear from you! And the thing about Severus is that he doesn't want to mix the two sides of himself, if that makes any sense. In canon too, he would have known that Peter was working for the Death Eaters, but he was only a part of the Order in canon (and at this point in the story, as far as he knows) to keep Lily safe. Just as he doesn't pass any of the Order's secrets to the Death Eaters, he doesn't pass any of the Death Eaters' secrets to the Order.

There are, unfortunately, a lot of nuances where he's concerned, and it's complex, trying to wade through them all.

But I hope that didn't diminish your love of the story. :) Really, thank you so much for taking the time to review this chapter, and I'm so pleased to hear from one of my readers! ♥ Looking forward to more of your opinions soon!!
