So much action already, and in the space of less than four thousand words. So frustrated now, you know that?

Though of course, you love Snethy (new ship name? perhaps?) just as much as I do, so hopefully I can hope for a slightly fluffy ending.

This was a brilliant, brilliant introduction to the final book of this trilogy, and I'm crying already at the idea that it will end one day.

Seriously. I need to be referred as 'the blob' for the twenty-four hours following my reading of your stories. There is no way I still qualify as a human being.

Author's Response: Val! Thanks so much for returning to check this story out! :) And yes... I suppose this chapter was perhaps not the softest entry into new things. First chapter, and drama is already happening! But then did we expect anything else from Sneth?

I will spill absolutely no beans about how this story ends. That's something you'll have to find out for yourself! ;) Who lives, who dies... fair game, really. Zipping my lips!
