I'm very excited for this sequel! Although I have to admit, that I find Rose quite dislikeable. I don't get why she is so personally pissed at Scorpius. She was the one who didn't have the guts to stand by him and emancipate herself from her family. And her behaviour now isn't very mature either. Did something happen between them since the last chapter of Fighting Temtation? Because they seemed to get along alright there.
Well, I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Maybe it's going to clear things up a bit for me. But for now, my sympathy goes to Scorpius. I'm very curios what he has been up to!

Author's Response: She is dielikeable within Reason, you will get a little more clarity in the next chapter. I tried to add a scene in at the end that would sum up why she is acting this way, but it really didn't work well as the end to the chapter so I moved it up as the begging of the next chapter. I will go ahead and tell you that nothing happened between now and Fighting Temptation, but the thing is that Rose is perfectly fine with Scorpius when he is off living his own life, him showing back up into hers for an extended period of time, even f it isnt his fault, upesetd her because over the years she has become very guarded and comfortable and he is really the only person who can make her feel and that scares the daylights out of her. And Rose's deffinse mechanism has always been anger or rage so that was why she was so pissed off at him.

Also I want to clarfy that Rose didn't choose her family because she didn't have the guts, she chose them because she loves them and she didn't want to be strained from them. To her it was the right decision, it may not have been the decision that people wanted, but she wasn't necessarly wrong in what she did, and I don't think she was a coward in doing it.
Anyways thank you so much for Reviewing and I hope that I answered some of your questions, and yes Scorpius has been up to some intersting things.
