Aww this was so, so sad :(.

I love the way you started it with Ron's sentence. It gets us hooked so fast trying to figure out what was going on, although once we find out we almost want to go back to not knowing.

The pure emotion you displayed in this was painful, but in the way we needed it to be because this would be an insanely difficult time.

I love that you had Ron making all these last minutes promises. The way we can tell he'd have done anything to be in her place really reminded us of how sincere their love is. And it's so hard to think of Hermione living all through she did now slipping away... :(

I think you could have upped Harry and Ginny's reactions a bit more. They were really great, and I love that they were trying to be strong for her, but maybe make it feel more like they're trying to be strong for her but failing. They're losing a person that's been part of their life for just as long. That's just a small suggestion though, because this piece is still really great.
