Review:Pheonix Potioneer says:
Hey, Scorpious isn't that bad! I am very surprised that he was willing to talk to Albus and Rose. He isn't as bad as I thought you would make him.

I agree with Harry that the person is probably a student. That is far more likely than a death eater at school. I still wonder, though, why Professor Blackburn wasn't here today...

Rose is right that whoever did this put a lot of thought into it. So it is most likely that it is a Slytherin or Ravenclaw, since those 2 houses are both known for their brains. I still suspect that it is a fellow Ravenclaw though.

What I don't get is their purpose. Sure, they're targeting the Malfoys and Potters, but what is the point of putting scary messages on the walls? It's just a message, and if they're caught, they could be expelled.

I don't blame Scorpious for being upset about his broom. He was hated, and then got a broom and became popular all of a sudden. Then he got his broom destroyed. It probably cost a lot of money, and I doubt his father will be willing to buy a new one.

Scorpious does have a point that the staff should try to find out who broke it. That is far more serious than just sneaking a broomstick into school. I wonder what Slughorn said about it? He just kept saying, "We've already discussed this."

Why would Albus think his dad called him a coward? Albus is NOT a coward.

Good chapter, can't wait for the next one!

Author's Response: Yeah, there was a reason the Sorting Hat paused before deciding where to place Scorpius. He is ambitious (that'll become clearer as the series goes on, depending on how far I get with it), pureblood and occasionally, rather willing to bend the rules but he isn't prejudiced or a bully.

I wondered what people would make of Professor Blackburn's absence...

Really like your idea that Slytherins and Ravenclaws are the most likely to put this much thought into their plans, though of course, not everybody fits every aspect of their house. I'm sure Hermione would have done this much planning if she was up to something dodgy (not that she would be) and she was a Gryffindor. I agree with you though. Slytherin and Ravenclaw do have some similarities.

Yeah, there is a bit of information missing there, since Rose and Albus aren't privy to Scorpius's conversation with Slughorn and Flitwick and of course, even Scorpius isn't privy to what the teachers are doing to find out what happened.

Albus is just still a little sensitive about not being in Gryffindor like his parents and brother, even though he likes being in Ravenclaw, because of the friends he's made. He still kind of has this idea that Potters SHOULD be Gryffindors and wonders if his parents and James think less of him for not being. They wouldn't, of course. And no, he's definitely not a coward, but he's not as confident as James and Rose and worries too much about what people think of him.
