Hi! Since we're having a Valentine's day Review-a-Thon, I thought I'd take the opportunity to come look at your story. And I am so glad I did!

This just made me feel so warm and fuzzy from start to finish. I love to read about families and how they work, and this look at Harry's new family was just beautiful. I can see how much it means to him to be able to give James the life he never had as a child. His "conversation" with his son was probably my favorite part of this chapter. It just really tugged at my heartstrings, and even though I've never had children, it made me think about what I might say to them when I do. You just made it so easy to put myself in Harry's position, which is a sign of a very skilled writer.

The other thing I loved was how real everything seemed. I mean, it was very heartwarming, but not in a cheesy way. Harry and Ginny are so comfortable with each other, and I love that you show us their everyday banter as well as the tender moments between them. Molly and Arthur are clearly veterans in this area, and their wisdom makes me smile. And their scene with Ron and Hermione is another high point for me, because it brings up an idea that I had never thought about. When the world around you changes, you change with it. I loved watching Ron and Hermione's apprehensive reaction to that idea, and they add a great little dose of comedy to the serious subject matter.

I'm glad that the story resonated with you. For me, it was really rewarding to capture Harry and Ginny in this very special, very happy moment. All of the canon characters go through so many awful things in the book and more generally in fan fiction. The good times deserve a bit of play, I think too.
