Aw, this was such an adorable chapter that made me long for Christmas all over again! I absolutely love the idea of having a winter Christmas-where I live it's boiling hot in December, and so this chapter definitely made me smile!

Oh my goodness, the Christmas breakfast that Brienne's father made sounds amazing! My mouth was seriously watering while I was reading about warm scones and croissants, and now I think I'll have to go and find something hot and buttery to eat! I also have to say before I forget, that I like the nice, slow pace at which you have taken Brienne's Christmas holidays. You haven't rushed your writing to get her back to school, which makes for a much more pleasant read!

That replenishing chocolate box sounds amazing! I would kill for one of them-though I'd probably imagine up all types of rubbish chocolate. And the letters from Fred and George were so funny and sweet! I actually laughed out loud while reading them. This bit especially: 'George sends his love (because he loves you) and I send my...like. Have a good Christmas; try not to get too fat' was just so Fred! And I loved this bit in George's letter, too: 'Ah, I kid, I kid. It wasn’t that bad. And I admit I probably had something to do with it, being gorgeous and all.' Haha, it was perfect! And Brienne's line: 'Regardless of what on Earth George was talking about, he was nonetheless adorable' was spot on!

I am now looking forward to seeing what happens when Brienne gets back to school and meets up with George again. I wonder whether there will be any awkward tension between them?

The name of the book Paisley gave Brienne was great! I love the way you add bits of humour throughout your chapters-just little details that I'm sure a lot of people over look! And the owl Brienne's father gave her sounds so cute! Nyx-what a great name! And this Ancient Magic study sounds really interesting!

Another great chapter-as always, I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Author's Response: Hi! Yeah, I wanted to convey the lovely Christmases that can be. A lot of people like to write Christmases full of family drama, and this is one full of tradition and light.

Fred and George are awesome, and I love them and I love writing them. Their friendship with Brienne is very special, and she grows to love them deeply (although in different ways xD).

I wanted this to be a nice chapter before stuff gets real in the next chapter. I love Nyx xD
