Review:Ardeith says:
I read this chapter (and enjoyed it!) the other day, but didn't have time to review, so I'm back, hoping I remember what I thought.

I liked Krum's encounter with Harry. And this:

"It was the first time Rose had ever seen Viktor hold an actual conversation with anyone, other than herself or Peter. Both men spoke with confidence and ease. It was a trait Rose was used to seeing in her uncle, but one she hadn’t had occasion to observe in Krum. It was oddly humanizing, and Rose liked it." Another great insight from you! When you start dating someone, you spend a lot of time alone together and it's so interesting to watch them in company! Glad Rose likes what she sees!

And the whole last bits were so well done and made you think about the characters and relationships in general... Krum was so cynical when they were dancing at the wedding, about never wanting to be married again (though you can't blame him!). Rose was so cool with it (I don't think I would be!), when she's young and should be able to look forward to marriage and children. But then back at her place, when he said I want all of you, you know he really does care about her. And not just as another drunk girl! ;-) Is that enough?

Author's Response: Awww, thank you so much for coming back to leave a review. That means a lot to me.

I'm glad you liked the bit with Harry. I think it's so true that you can learn a lot about a significant other by not only the way they treat you, but how they treat others. The ending part was tricky for me to write, but if it got you thinking about them as a couple, then I guess I got close to the mark. It was meant as a sort of follow-up to the whole "I don't want to get married again" conversation. A way for him to show that just because he doesn't want to marry her doesn't mean she isn't special to him.

Now it's up to Rose to decide if that's enough for her.
