Hi Maggie, it's me again!

I'm glad you had more interaction from the characters in this chapter as I feel that's how you grow to love the characters and get really interested in the plot. It was also nice to see how the characters really reflected their house personalities, such as Ravenclaw being concerned and excited by the shape shifter, and Slytherin not wanting to admit he was scared due to their famous pride!

I always wondered where the moving staricases came from, so it was wonderful to see the amount of detail Rowena put into the plans, as it just shows how much they loved the school. I also found interesting when she sighed at Godric and Gareth. It leads to the reader speculating over whether she wants children, likes Godric or another thing.

I thought it was nice that Helga thought Salazar might redeem himself and gain tolerance towards muggles one day. It just shows how fixed in their ways some people can be, because he's fine being friends with Helga and Godric when he thinks they're wizard born, I'm anticipating the big blow up from when he realises they're muggle born.

Now that you've established the characters and developed their personalities one thing I would like to see, would be how the school was run and more details about it. I always found it intriguing how the pupils would react to the first magical school, so it would be an interesting perspective to explore.

I really like Elaine, as it shows contrast between the muggle and wizarding world, as she has a lot of unease among the wizards. I think it's good you haven't added in any more major characters as it allows everyone to develop and be loved equally. I can't wait to see if she and Rowena do become friends, as I'm sure that would be an interesting friendship!

Overall, I really liked this chapter, and I'm loving Helga more and more each time as she's just so lovely and kind! Kiana :)

Author's Response: Hi Kiana! Thank you for being so awesome and coming to review again! Have I mentioned that I love your reviews? :)

I'm glad you enjoyed getting to see the characters' personalities a little more here. I've worked hard on the dialogue in this story, so it's great to know you liked it! And you're the first person to mention Rowena's little sigh while looking out at Godric and his son--so glad you picked up on that! I hope you enjoy getting to know Rowena a little better as the story goes on :)

Helga does have a lot of optimism, and tends to believe the best in people no matter what. It's one of her best qualities, I think, and one of the things Salazar actually likes about her. But more about that will come later ;)

I love that suggestion about adding some more school-related details. I'll keep that in mind as I write, because I think it would interest a lot of people. And I'm glad you like Elaine too! She doesn't get as much face time as the Founders, but I love her character :)

Thank you so much for the review, again! Your feedback has been so encouraging and awesome!
