I liked how you gave Mille some bad traits as I was a little worried she may turn into a Mary-Sue but seeing that she's a commitment-phobe and a little shy and rude means that when reading her you don't feel inferior which is good!

Even though the chapters are rather on the short side I haven't realised it that much. You tend to get immersed in all of the action of that chapter so it's nothing to worry about as long as something happens in each chapter!

I love the little details that you include such as Remus singing and Black whining it just makes you feel like you know them a little bit better.

One thing I'm slightly worried about. Though you say that Pettigrew fades into the woodwork don't make him fade too much. Even though he did cause James and Lily to die don't punish him too much but leaving him out of the story.

Last point I can't wait to see what's been going on with Millie's family I love a bit of mystery ;D

Author's Response: Congratulations on getting to chapter 3! I know you have quite a few requests for reviews to go, so I'm really happy that you decided to review this!

I really wanted to make Millie imperfect - Sirius has his obvious flaws, so it didn't make sense to me that his ladylove didn't. He doesn't strike me as the type to go for perfection.

And I'm really inconsistent with chapter length! They tend to be longer chapters, later on, but whilst I was setting up the story, I sometimes had trouble getting the chapters to even 1 000 words!

And haha! You noticed the singing thing! Yay!

And unfortunately, I think Pettigrew does fade out quite a bit as the story goes on. I know it's a pet peeve of a lot of people - sometimes mine as well - but I just can't seem to write him in! I know he was their best friend, but to me, his story isn't inspiring enough at that point in time. I think, that once they graduated, things would've become more interesting with Pettigrew, but he seems really superfluous to me whilst they were at Hogwarts.

And Millie's family - there's some nice stuff about that in the later chapters!
