I can't really explain it very well, but I'm so glad you haven't made Lily a Mary-Sue! Because usually in stories she is portrayed as some saint, but in yours she forgot her best friends birthday :D I love it :D

This seriously sounds like a good story! So I will most definitely be favouriting to read at another stage, because a plot bunny has just raced into my head, so I must type :P Adios to you too :P

And I'm pretty sure Lily could get Millie Batman, all she has to do is convince Snape and voila! :P

And yes - it's long. I've been working on it for a while. And now it needs some editing done before I can continue with it.

And I'm happy that you like Lily. The story's focus isn't Lily, but I didn't want her to be the perfect best friend. She's a little prickly and bossy - but not overly so, which is kinda what I think Lily was like. And no, she isn't perfect!

And I really hope Lily doesn't convince Snape to turn into Batman - I love Batman, and I hate Snape!
