Okay. I know you finished writing this long ago and I'm reading it too late, though I was meaning to read this for a long while, but I wanted to tell you how much I liked this. =]

Well, many people insert a female member in the marauders, but Beth is more original and interesting. I always thought that someone must've liked Severus after all. =] Oh and Beth Bridger is a pretty name!

The descriptions of James's house are just awesome and Sirius seemed believable. But just one doubt- if Sirius has his own place and is off age, then why Beth isn't?? Just a simple queer, you know. :)

Anyway, it's a lovely opening chapter!

I don't mind cliches -- reading or writing them -- if they're done well, and so I'm very pleased that you think Beth's original (and that she has a pretty name)! I've become very attached to her in the year and a half I've been writing her story, which is, I suppose, to be expected. And I agree very much with you: Someone must have in fact liked Severus!

That is a very good question, but it has an answer. :3 Sirius got his own place right at 17 with the gold he got from his Uncle Alphard; Beth, although 17 as well, is still living with her parents until she graduates from Hogwarts. Sirius is just headstrong and independent!
