Review:CassiePotter says:
I WAS THE 100th REVIEWER ON THIS STORY??? Oh my goodness, I didn't even know! Of course you have more than that now, but I'm always happy to stop back by and let you know my thoughts on your stories! :) and thank you for thanking me, that was so sweet, and totally unnecessary! You deserve all the reviews!
I love Beth's thought process as she hears the tapping in the morning, and is first waking up. I thought it was hilarious that she jumps from Death Eaters to Sirius burning his flat down! Haha. And their first mission alone... I would be so nervous and scared, even if it was as exciting as Sirius was making it sound! And in Knockturn Alley, too! I really love how you wrote Beth and Sirius together, they feel so natural most of the time, but there's also that kind of awkward feeling of Sirius's "feelings" for her, and Beth just starting to think that something might be up. I can't wait for her to find out what Sirius has been up to, making himself fall for her. I don't think this will end very well.
And you wrote Lucius perfectly! He had just the right amount of arrogance, but is still young so he doesn't completely know what he's doing and has the potential to screw up. So he overcompensates with more arrogance. You totally captured that, I think, and the fact the he was talking with Borgin, considering that they get into some more disagreements later, in JKR's writing, was perfect. I feel like Lucius is always hanging around Borgin and Burke's, and so this felt really natural, and like something that he would definitely do!
And then you wrote Moody and it was brilliant!!! I could picture every little detail of this ministry and Beth and Sirius's conversation with Moody. I can't wait to read more, because this story is fantastic! 10/10
Cassie :)

Author's Response: Yes, you were, and I'm still so, so grateful to you for it! :) 100 reviews is nothing to sneeze at -- ONE review means the world to me, because it means someone, somewhere, thought enough of my story to tell me so. And that's tremendous, you know?

Ahaha! I'm fond of that particular line. ;) I love this chapter, too, and I have really strong memories of writing it, so that's really neat. This was the first mission chapter where I feel I got it right, you know? Siribeth... yeah, that's never meant to be. Poor shippers out there!

Thank you for your comment on Lucius, too! He's so fun to write -- all the Death Eaters are, really. They seem almost less complex than my main characters, because on the surface, which is really all we see of them here, there aren't any complexities. They have screwed-up morals, and that's basically it. Diving into that's pretty neat. I'm just chuffed that you found Lucius to be in character!

Gahhh, this review. I'm afraid I've made a mess of responding to it, but I seriously am so grateful that you've taken the time to leave me a review. I can't tell you how excited I was to see you'd returned! ♥ Thank you very much, and I can't wait to hear your opinions on future chapters, too!
