I absolutely love this fanfiction; it may be morbid but it's extremely well written! To be honest, I can't find anything to criticize; however, I have to wonder why Dumbledore wouldn't turn into an Inferi?

I love all the details you've included; how wands are removed from the dead corpses of wizarding families, that Snape buried Moody's body, the difference between the Diggory grave compared to others. You make the scenes so much more visual and I could actually see them unfolding in my head, down to the minutest detail. XD

I especially liked the break in the one-shot in which we saw the story from Voldemort's point of view instead of Cedric's; it was quite interesting to see the contrast between the Inferi and the wizard who created them.

This is honestly one of the captivating one-shots that I've ever read. You have an amazing talent! :)

Dumbledore wouldn't turn into an Inferi because it symbolized that even in death, good can still triumph over evil. Dumbledore simply would not do his bidding - whether it was because the Dumbledore upstairs forbade it or because someone had cast enchantments (perhaps Snape) over his body after his death to prevent anything of this sort from ever happening.

I know that Albus was buried with his wand, but I think that maybe that was because it was the Elder wand, and he just really wanted to protect it. I'm thinking that if I had a relative who died, I'd keep their wand. After all, wands are practically an extension of the witches and wizards themselves. They take them everywhere. It's a memento families would want to keep and pass on to the next generation, I would think. So I'm pleased you liked that detail I added. :)
