Review:Ardeith says:
Wow! Thanks so much for the shoutout!! My pleasure, really, I love this story!

I love how you never fail to show how the Death Eaters are nasty people. Even when they are just there for exposition, their little digs at each other and their coldness at what they're doing, just really demonstrate what they are all about. And how you contrasted that at the end with the little spark of doubt in our Sev!!

Great characterization of Bellatrix, very in canon. This was great:

“Isn’t it incredible?” she breathed, pushing some of her dark hair out of her eyes and gazing rapturously up at him. Severus raised an eyebrow, but didn’t comment. “That the Dark Lord… he’s here,” she added, and gave another giggle.."

Just chill already, Bellla. ;-)

Obviously, events are in motion for James and Lily to move to Godrics Hollow. I like how you expand and build your story on the simple nuggets from cannon.

Oh and this goes back a couple chapters to Beth and her parents and the teacups. My sister was making dinner for herself, me and our (not exactly dear) dad. She had set out three bowls, two that matched and one that didn't. I was about to say "why don't you get three matching?" when I realized she was sending him a subtle message like Beth's mom and the tea, "two of us belong and one doesn't".

Author's Response: Oh, absolutely! You're one of the people that definitely keeps this story going -- it's so, so appreciated that you come back to review every week. Truly!

I think a lot of times, fan fiction swings one way or the other; by that, I mean that people tend to write to pre-fitted notions of character extremities. Death Eaters are either wholly nasty and inhuman (which is the more common depiction), or they're watered down and made to seem less than they are. What I try to do, in their case and in the case of all the characters I write, is to make them as /human/ as possible, with all their good and bad traits mixing into their personality. I'm so happy that you've enjoyed them thus far!

Chill Bella, indeed! And I'm very interested in the scenario that you told me about, that real-life connection to Sneth, although I'm sorry to hear that it's not necessarily a happy one. ♥ You and your sister sound like very sound individuals!

As always, thank you so much for reviewing. I am very, very honored to know that you enjoy this story that much. :) I'm already looking forward to seeing your much-sought-after opinion on chapter 26, too!
