Good Lord Jane it's NOVEMBER!! What have I been doing since July?!?!?!

So, I have been so busy with Uni and work and other projects but I am feeling a little ill at the moment so I have my cup of tea and I'm snuggled up on the sofa therefore it is a perfect time to get at least a few of the gazillion chapters you've posted in my huge absence under my belt.

Urgh and I was doing so well!

I am glad to be back with Beth and Co though! I too love a Christmas chapter and seeing as it is just over a month away it fits the time perfectly!

This probably isn't going to be the best review I've left because I'm just coming back into the story and I'm a little rusty.

Sirius at Christmas is by far my favourite Sirius!! Getting all grumpy because it isn't snowing and singing Christmas songs all year round.

Still love James and Beth's friendship. His intuition with her is something that I think represents the close friendship they have so well. And the fact he didn't fly off the handle about Sev, he really has matured.

Poor Sev is going to be alone for Christmas. At least he has Beth's letters to look forward to. I love the juxtaposition of a Death Eaters life to that of people in the Order. It just shows how lonely being one of Voldemort's followers can actually be.

On to the next chapter. . .

Author's Response: Ahaha, Callie! ♥ I just want to tell you, although you'll probably hear it again in the course of my responding to these reviews, just how much it means to me that you did this for me. I completely understand getting busy, of course -- and I don't hold it against you at all, of course! There is nothing quite like fan fiction and a cup of tea when you're sick, of course. I'm so pleased you chose this fic to come back and read (and I hope you're feeling better now)!

I love Christmas chapters too! I feel like Sirius is basically just a little kid at that time of year. One of the reasons I like writing him so much, particularly in this story, is because he represents a great duality -- almost like Severus, though their two personalities are different. Sirius can be almost childish, but he knows when to be serious when it matters, and that's the fun part: Getting to play with both, when appropriate. I didn't anticipate I would love writing in this era so much, but I do!

James is, I think, my /favorite/ Marauder to write in this era, though, which also surprised me. (And it's really going to suck when I reach the end of this timeline. Boo.) He really has matured! I privately think getting away from Sirius's constant influence did some good for him. ;)

I'm so glad you're back, too! ♥ Thank you so, so much, Callie, for everything. Seriously. I am so honored to have you as a steady reviewer on not one, not two, but THREE of my stories now! You're awesome!!
