That part right there is great. Nobody argues with Minerva unless they had very good reason to. Anyway, I was hoping for something to happen, but it doesn't always work that way, as in, solving things out on the first try. I see that Ron is crumbling a little. I didn't like him all that much in this chapter, but I guess he has to take his anger out on someone. Poor, poor Charlie. I half expected Ron to pull a Potter and just jump into the middle of them and battle them straight away. Thank goodness he kept his cool. His sudden vulnerability touched me, the way he turned to his dad for a hint of support and reassurance, scared for his brother. I hope they do something about them devils really soon.

Author's Response: I love McGonagall! She really is a fun character in the books -- she's quite sarcastic, when you go back and read them again. I always get this impression of her in my mind as being strong and rigid and stern, and I don't think it would be too easy to disagree with her in the slightest.

I'm glad that you understand why nothing momentous happened in this mission, though (I don't think some people did!). One of the biggest themes in this story is that, as much as we might want them to, the good guys don't always win. Movies and novels tell us otherwise, but in real life, justice isn't always served, you know?

I think, if Ron hadn't had the others with him to hold him back, he definitely would have jumped into the middle of that group of Death Eaters -- and you can imagine how that might have turned out. Thank goodness he kept his cool indeed! No worries, though, because the Weasleys are strong. They've got a few tricks up their sleeve yet. ;)

I am making absolutely no sense in these reviews, and I think mostly it's just because I'm sitting here and just thinking about how awesome it is that you've come back and reviewed these last four chapters for me. It's always fantastic when reviewers return to a story, and you've reviewed four times in one go! Thank you so, so much! ♥
