Hello again. Liz is back to get some Ron/Hermione darkness! And yeah, I'm one of those who probably won't theorize much, because I'm always wrong.

The description of the dungeons was great. I read it all very closely, and you always set the scene up very nicely. The way Hermione reminisced about all the times she had spent there, studying and potion-making, and now she's there slowly dying. Yet her fierce determination toward the end of her section reminded me why I love Hermione so much. I'm glad she's not alone, and that Dean is there with her. Maybe they can come up with something together, even with Oliver when he stops being so hopeless. It's sad and I love it at the same time how she repeats Ron's name in her head. She needs him to help her, but somehow from those few words one can just feel the longing and love she feels for him.

So, Voldy Scoldy's not so boldy anymore. It's a nice twist. I read this a while ago, so I didn't remember all the hints that might've been dropped earlier. Therefore it surprised me and it was a great way to end the chapter!

Author's Response: Hi -- it's really awesome to see you back here again! Don't worry, I never theorize while reading fic. Probably because I, too, always seem to be wrong...

Setting up a scene is something that's become pretty important to me in writing, and I'm glad that you find that I've done it well. :) When I decided (arguably quite naturally) that I was going to put the makeshift prison in the dungeons, that called up a whole world of juxtapositions with potions classes and whatnot. I'm afraid that I often just write what comes to mind, rather than actually thinking it out!

It was a bit tricky, picking out who would get captured and who would make it out of the battle -- and then deciding, of the prisoners, who would be important enough to shut away in a dungeon cell, and who would be put to work. Dean, I thought, would immediately get shut up, as he's Muggle-born, and Oliver's got a lot of ties to Harry. Charlie too, I suppose, but frankly, I needed someone on the outside! And now I've very much lost my train of thought. ;)

Voldemort is indeed not so powerful as he might think he is! Really, thank you so much for dropping back by and leaving me a string of such lovely reviews. It completely made my day. ♥ I'm so happy you're enjoying the story thus far!
