Author's Response: I'm so glad to hear that, Cassie -- truly! Writing Bellatrix has actually been one of the trickier parts of this story, along with writing Voldemort, because for some reason their voices are the hardest for me to get right. Bellatrix for sure returns, and I think Scabior might pop in again... You'll have to wait and see!

I think one of the most gratifying things about getting reviews like yours is comment on the strength of Hermione's character. It's something I've heard several times at this point, and I am so relieved that it is coming across, because I went into this story with the intention of making her as strong as possible. Because she really is! Even when she's inches from death, she's determined and willing and capable. Everyone should strive to be a Hermione in their own way.
