Review:caoty says:
I bet you weren't expecting a review for this one any time soon, but you've run out of one-shots and haven't updated Detox, so alas I was driven to this extreme. I was getting quite proud of being the only person who hadn't read CoB yet. I'm a fanfic hipster, apparently.

But anyway. This was... short? I was under the impression that it was physically impossible for you to write anything shorter than 2000 words. I'm impressed. Even if it is just a prologue.

And this review is absolutely terrible because I keep comparing this with other stuff of yours. Goddammit. Erm. You're a very versatile writer, you know that? I would honestly not make the connection between this and Surrender to the Night if I hadn't known it was you who wrote it.

ANYWAY - I keep getting sidetracked - you've done the whole King's-Cross-now-with-more suspense thing very well. It has obvious similarities to canon, but you've made it your own with a more chilled out Harry (it's easy to be chilled out when you've got no idea what's going on, I guess) and then a wild Ginny appears. I'm almost but not quite certain that this is a dream as Harry's attempting to deal with Ginny's death, by the way, rather than a visit within itself.

And I have nothing more to say for this because... erm... well, it's 520 words. I'm still stunned. :P

Author's Response: So I don't think I would even call this chapter the appetizer for CoB. It's more like the polite conversation you have with the maitre 'd on the way to your table. It really takes a few chapters to get into the story, which makes this a challenging piece for things like Review Tag. But enough about my troubles.

Harry is much calmer in this visit to King's Cross because he's older and more experienced. All will be revealed, including the reason why Ginny is there.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!
