Ok first off, nice job with including Elaine! I think you really strengthened her character in this chapter. With only really 5 characters, you have so much room to develop and focus on them and I think that's awesome! Once again, you proved how totally crazy and bipolar Salazar is. He's such a mysterious character and I can't wait to see how he reacts to the news about Godric and Helga. On that note, I can't believe you're making us wait another chapter for her to reveal it! I was all geared up to hear her tell it, then *bam* she had to go and not say anything. *sigh* But seriously you did an awesome job of cliff hanging there! This chapter was really interesting I think in exploring the concept of the sorting hat, and also the women founders on wishing for motherhood.

One thing, I was really surprised to see how young they are. Maybe just because I haven't read the first chapter in a while, but I didn't realize they were so young. Maybe you could find some way of putting that in earlier? If it is in earlier and I just forgot, feel free to ignore me on this!

Awesome chapter, can't wait to see more!

I'm so glad you like Elaine in this! Your comment about not seeing enough of her is what inspired me to write that "girl talk" scene. I had great fun putting the women together and seeing where their conversation might go. And it was fun to explore the experience a medieval woman might have living at Hogwarts.

Hahaha, bipolar Salazar. I think that's a funny way of putting it :) And I know, the wait is kind of cruel, isn't it? Unfortunately, Helga tends to chicken out under pressure, so it might be a little longer. But there will be a big reveal in ch. 7, just maybe not the one you're expecting.

I briefly mentioned their ages in the very first chapter, but I see what you mean about forgetting. The more reviews I get, the more I realize I need to go back and edit later. I'll try to stick that info in sometime between the beginning and now :)
