As Regulus is one of my favorite characters in the HP world, I felt like I could cry reading those letters Sirius wrote to him. Just knowing that he never got them, that Regulus will never know his brother loved him... :(

I wasn't expecting the 13th letter to be from their mother, honestly I was expecting it to be their father first. We don't know all that much about Orion's character, and I've read a few great stories where he's been good to his son's (and some where he wasn't...). But I liked that it was the mother in the end, showing her in another light.

This was a really lovely, yet sad one-shot. I loved it.

Author's Response: Same here!! Regulus is one of my favourite too and I have always just believed that him and Sirius have been much closer than the books make them out to be.

I was originally thinking of making it Orion, to be honest, but then I thought of her screaming and shrieking and so, here it is :P
