I've heard absolutely wonderful things about this story and have been meaning to read it for quite some time now so I'm happy to finally be making my way here! I thought that this first chapter did everything that a first chapter should, it made me curious as to what is going on and made me want to continue reading. It also set up Harry quite well and I thought that you did a great job with him! As I've already stated I'm very curious as to what is going to happen next now that we know Harry is once more at Kings Cross and possibly dead.. and maybe Ginny too?! I thought the description you had in this first chapter was wonderful as well, especially describing the complete blindness of the fog around Harry! I hope the story lives up to the good things you've heard. It's far and away the longest thing I've ever written and I'm very proud of it.

The prologue is meant to do nothing more than whet the appetite, so I'm glad that it left you curious about what has happened to Harry and Ginny. To give you just a bit more info, the prologue is actually the first part of a scene that occurs in the fourth-to-last chapter of the story.

King's Cross is symbolic. It represents transitions, and the choice of whether to move on. If I tell you anything more than that, it would ruin the surprise. ;)
